Regardless of which bike you own, you'll need to make sure you are insured all year round, regardless of whether you intend to use it every day, just at the weekend or as the odd weekend ride out.
The reasons for this are detailed in the Continuous Insurance Enforcement regulations, which states that you cannot keep a vehicle without insuring it no matter how often you intend to use it. The only exception to the ruling is if you have notified the DVLA that your bike is being kept off the road and that you have no intention to ride it.
Entire Cover has wide knowledge of the Insurance market meaning we are able to offer a specialist cover for individuals with driving & criminal convictions, Van Insurance, Classic Cars, Motorcycle, Scooter & specialist vehicles such as Ice Cream Vans & Horse boxes to name a few, along with offering our clients competitive premiums.

Comprehensive is the highest form of bike insurance available and, as the name suggests, it offers a more comprehensive cover and includes damage to a third party as well as damage or loss caused by fire and theft. Comprehensive cover may be a little more expensive than the other levels of cover it can make a lot of sense financially as it covers damage to your bike even if you caused the accident yourself.
If you have Third Party Fire and Theft cover you are covered for everything described for Third Party only plus you are also covered for damages in the event of a fire or theft of your bike.
Third Party Only is the most basic level of insurance available and is the minimum level of insurance required by law. This level of insurance only covers damage or injury to a third party's property or to the third party themselves (this also includes any injury to their passengers). The reason you are legally required to have third party cover is that it protects other people from having to front legal or medical costs for an accident or incident that wasn't their fault.
